Job Description

Located in the heart of Canada's capital next door to the Parliament Buildings, the landmark Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa is looking to fill a role of Pastry Chef Tournant.

The Pastry Chef Tournant is responsible for supporting the Pastry Chef in overseeing the pastry kitchen's daily operations. This includes preparing a wide range of pastries and desserts, maintaining quality and presentation standards, and ensuring efficient workflow across all pastry stations. The role demands a high level of creativity, technical skill, and the ability to adapt to various tasks within the pastry department.

This unique roll is an excellent step toward a Sous Chef position and would primarily work five, 8-hour days.
