Job Description

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking an experienced Patient Access Manager for our multi-specialty oncology practice. In this role, you’ll lead front-end financial operations and drive excellence across Patient Financial Services—ensuring accurate processes, strong team performance, and a positive patient financial experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Performance
Oversee Benefit Counseling, Insurance Verification, Patient Assistance, and Patient Access teams
Ensure accurate insurance verification to prevent denials
Audit workflows, production, and establish benchmarks/KPIs
Monitor collections of copays, deductibles, and patient balances at time of service
Maintain accurate fee schedules and cost-of-care calculations
Track physician adjustments and report key metrics to leadership
