Patient Care Assistant - Nursing Float Pool

Overview

This is a part-time position working NIGHTS. Benefits eligible. 

FTE available: 

0.4 (16 hrs/week)

0.6 (24 hrs/week)

0.8 (32 hrs/week)

Every fourth weekend required; one summer and one winter holiday required.

$19/hr, plus any applicable shift differentials. 

The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for performing basic supportive care to specified patients/families under the direction and supervision of an RN/Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN Care Manager but does not interpret data. Demonstrates competence in providing age-appropriate care and service for pediatric patients from birth to 21 years, and selected adults.
