Job Description

The Position:

Orderly team members provide patient transport services to all departments, wards and clinical areas

Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties

Identifying and recording any problems relating to orderly services and/or safety

Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff

Communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients and your supervisor
Minimum Criteria:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is highly desirable

Must hold a valid Working with Children Card

Must have valid Police Check

Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility

Ability to work within a rotating roster

Must have a genuine interest in working with and caring for people
