PAUT Inspector

Conduct Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) on piping, pipelines, welds, and structural components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate PAUT equipment using appropriate probes, wedges, and scanners.
• Utilize software tools such as NDT Setup Builder and Beam Tool for scan planning and configuration.
• Develop and review inspection procedures and techniques in line with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Conduct equipment calibration and validation in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data, identify defects, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with clear documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with international codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Support QA/QC teams in inspection planning and execution for piping and pipeline systems.
