Job Description

About the Role

The payroll and rostering administrator is an important role within our People & Development team; providing a comprehensive payroll service to Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti.

Responsibilities

  • Run payroll reports and perform data maintenance.
  • Process pay runs within a fortnightly deadline.
  • Maintain payroll systems and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Provide comprehensive payroll support to the team and staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and the Holidays Act.
  • Experience in administration.
  • Initiative and ability to self‑manage.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Great communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously yet collaborate as part of a team.
