About the Role

Library Workers provide an essential frontline service ensuring that our customers of all ages get the best from their library service. The ability to work under pressure and to adapt within a constantly changing environment is essential. 

You will need to be able to quickly master the varied aspects of library routines, including front line customer care, using the library management system, the self-service machines, handling cash, stock requests and stock procedures.

You will also be required to facilitate a variety of groups, including arts and craft sessions, Rhyme Times and Story Times as and when required.
