Position Summary

Posting Note: The Division of Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care at Phoenix Childrens has grown dramatically over the past two decades, emerging as a cornerstone of pediatric health care in Arizona. Since opening our first free-standing hospital in , our emergency department on the Thomas Campus is the states only free-standing Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, seeing over 80, children each year.

As the Phoenix metro area continues to grow, so does our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Weve added a free-standing emergency department in the West Valley in with an annual volume of 50, visits. A new satellite free-standing childrens hospital opened in Northwest Phoenix in with an annual volume of 30, visits accompanied by 24/7 pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) coverage, operating room, inpatient floor and pediatric ICU.
