Job Description
Centra is actively seeking an experienced, board-certified pediatric physician for a full-time opportunity as a faculty member in an established 9-9-9 family medicine residency program.
This role includes 0.6 FTE patient facing time and 0.4 FTE Faculty/Teaching time that is non-patient facing to allow time for overseeing resident academic education and to pursue personal faculty development and scholarly activity.
Responsible for precepting resident physician clinics at LFMR for patients under the age of 18 years including well-baby and newborn visits, routine well child-care, chronic disease follow-ups, and acute care visits. Our residency program serves pediatric patients who have developmental and behavioral health concerns, so this faculty member will role model effective coordination of care with pediatric subspecialists.
