Job Description
6-7 month contract position with a local authority Summary This is a 6-7 month contract position with a local authority, focused on supporting the financial management, accounting, and reporting of the London Borough Pension Fund, valued at approximately 2.2bn. The role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial transactions, reconciliations, and reports related to the Pension Fund. This includes interactions with Fund Managers, London CIV, auditors, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead the compilation of the Pension Fund Report & Accounts in collaboration with the Investment & Accounting Manager. Ensure all financial reporting meets CIPFA requirements and is completed to a high professional standard. Prepare and maintain monthly Fund Manager and London CIV transaction reports, ensuring all holdings are accurately reflected in the Statement of Accounts.
