Per Diem Float RN - Oncology, San Luis Obispo/Atascadero

Description

In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, infusion therapy and documentation to patients in the Community Oncology Practice. Major functions include: patient assessment, patient evaluation and preparation and administration of chemotherapeutic agents and other intravenous drugs, patient education and psychosocial support.

Salary: $96.74/hr

Qualifications

Required:

+ Possession of current California RN license
+ Possession of BCLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
+ Possession of a MSN or BSN degree
+ Possession of ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy
+ Knowledge of the Oncology patient population and practice operations
+ Knowledge of all aspects of infusion therapy in an oncology setting
+ Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through for multiple patient treatments on an ongoing basis
+ Excellent blood withdrawal and IV skills
