Job Description
Randstad is proud to partner with an established industry leader in the perishable goods sector to recruit a seasoned Perishable Inventory Buyer. This is a critical, high-impact vacancy on their procurement team.
The Ticking Time Bomb Environment
In this industry, product doesn't sit on a shelf—it moves, or it spoils. You will work hand-in-hand with the internal Sales Team in a highly collaborative, fluid ecosystem. While the sales team drives revenue, the buying team pivots constantly based on real-time market shifts, weather patterns, and freight logistics. On this desk, crossover is common: buyers frequently assist with customer sales inquiries, and salespeople support procurement.
