Provide assistance to the healthcare staff by providing venepuncture service and rendering basic care for patients in Acute Medical Unit
Job Description- Perform venepuncture for the collection of blood specimen for dispatch to the laboratory
- Update electronic medical record for blood specimen that has been collected and dispatched to the laboratory
- Perform blood sugar check using a POCT machine
- Practice universal precautions when performing any procedure
- Assist nurse in administering oxygen for patient
- Perform inventory management in the ward
