Personal Property Procurement Officer

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Property Procurement Officer to join our Akima Facilities Operations Team at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The ideal candidate will havefamiliarity with, or a comprehensive understanding of DOD transportation regulations, policies, and procedures, and related systems such as the Defense Personal Property System.

**Responsibilities**

+ Serves as a subject matter expert on DOD transportation regulations, entitlements, and procedures, providing guidance and assistance to service members as needed.
+ Liaises with military bases, transportation offices, and third-party carriers to facilitate the smooth and timely execution of transportation services.
+ Addresses escalated transportation-related issues and concerns, resolving conflicts and disputes in a professional and diplomatic manner.
