Personal Support Worker

We are looking for a Personal Support Worker who is committed to making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and respite.
2. Assess the environment for safety during each patient visit.
3. Treat patients with compassion and respect.
4. Use judgment in carrying out instructions and recognize the need to seek supervisory assistance. Report/communicate observations or concerns to the appropriate individual(s), as necessary.
5. Keep all patient information confidential.
6. Work as a team with other health care professionals and service providers.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
3. Ability to speak a second language is considered an asset.
