Position Overview The Personnel Security Assistant provides administrative and technical support to personnel security operations in compliance with security programs, policies, and requirements. The role emphasizes personnel security program duties including position risk designation, sensitivity level assessments, fingerprint review, completion of initial investigation or reinvestigation requirements, investigative case review and adjudication, and processing of personnel separations. Responsibilities Review Public Trust and National Security investigation requests for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with selectees, Human Resources, and Contracting Officer's Representatives to resolve incomplete or inaccurate requests. Provide recommendations, answer questions, and offer guidance on personnel security processes, investigations, and policies to internal and external customers.
