Job Description
A night shift pharmacy opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital located in Indiana. This contract position offers a six-month assignment with the potential to transition to permanent employment. The role requires working a consistent night schedule, providing vital pharmaceutical services in a hospital setting.
Schedule:
- 7 nights on, 7 nights off
- Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Location:
- Liberty, Indiana
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Consult and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapy and patient care plans
- Utilize EPIC system for documentation and order processing
