Pharmacist job in Virginia Beach VA

A highly respected, independent, not-for-profit healthcare system in Southeastern Virginia is seeking an Inpatient Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join its acute care teaching hospital. This opportunity offers a strong clinical practice environment with an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency Program, a newly renovated pharmacy, EPIC and Pyxis technology, and a collaborative team culture. Pharmacists are actively involved in patient care, pharmacokinetic monitoring, provider education, quality improvement initiatives, and resident/student precepting. The schedule is primarily FT Evening Shifts (3p - 11:30p) with rotating weekends shared amongst the team.

Candidates must possess a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and be eligible for Virginia pharmacist licensure. Outside of that, all pharmacist applicants are being considered with a preference towards those with hospital experience.
