Job Description
Responsibilities
- Dispenses medication and supplies to customers.
- Performs medication counselling
- Performs initial Drug Interaction Review as requested by the Customer.
- Performs Order Taking functions, Explains to the customers the MEdiCard Pharmacy Services
- Recommends generically equivalent products to the customer when the brand prescribed or requested is unavailable or if the customer requests for an efficient alternative.
- Attends to customer inquiries and requests regarding medicine.
- Maintains organized filing of prescriptions.
- Dispenses and records prescription and dangerous drugs according to the existing Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
- Ensures that appropriate information is given to patients purchasing Over the Counter Drugs.
- Ensures that quality of medicine is maintained through proper handling and storage at any given time.
