This role supports a high-volume pharmacy operation by accurately filling prescription requests in a fast-paced production environment. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Clerk prepares, packages, sorts, and distributes medications while maintaining a continuous workflow to meet daily production goals. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision, and the flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
+ Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules, ensuring accuracy in medication type, strength, and quantity.
+ Retrieve and process Unit-of-Use and bulk medication items from labeled shelves for order fulfillment.
+ Read computer-generated screens to locate indicated medications, verifying the size and strength of products before filling orders.
