The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator participates, and oversees, various activities of pharmacy practice such as prescription order entry, claim adjudication, preparation & dispensing of medications, medication distribution, non- sterile and sterile compounding, inventory management, including the use of automated pharmacy device and equipment, record maintenance, handling of controlled substances, communication with patients, and maintenance of assigned areas. Coordinator participates in or leads the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimizations of standards and workflows in designated area of specialty. There is an expectation to execute audits, interviews, performance evaluations, training, and / or education.
