Pharmacy over-the-counter associate

Position Summary

Over-the-Counter Associate assists customers, zones the assigned area, performs tasks delegated by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, and maintains modular and feature presentation, while delivering exemplary customer service consistent with Wal‑Mart values.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow Privacy Act practices.
• Maximize department sales and profit under Pharmacy Manager direction.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markup/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keep area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintain zero pricing errors (e.g., Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibrate equipment used in the prescription filling process.

Pay

Minimum hourly rate starts at $17.75.
