Job Description
Pharmacy Technician
A California registered technician who, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, maintains drug inventories, patient medication profiles, prepares medications, issues medications in the appropriate manner to patient care areas, restocks medications, and assists the pharmacists in all other areas of drug distribution as needed and allowed by State Law. Assists the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients. Complies with applicable laws and regulations.
This position requires a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC- Anaheim Regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core values of AHMC- ARMC.
