About the Project
This project focuses on the design, fabrication, and optimization of Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs) to provide reliable, 24/7 sustainable energy for remote and off-grid locations. By combining advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with experimental physical testing, the research aims to maximize aerodynamic efficiency and ensure structural integrity in highly dynamic wind environments. The expected outcome is a robust, ready-to-deploy turbine prototype engineered specifically for grid-isolated areas.
Eligibility
Candidates with any of the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, Fluid Dynamics, Renewable Energy, or a closely related specialization.
