About the position
Applicants are invited for a three- or four‑year position as PhD Research Fellow in professional/workplace learning to be based at the Department of Education, University of Oslo.
We are seeking a candidate interested in examining the interplay of emerging epistemic technologies and work practices, the challenges and implications these technologies have on human expertise, and how professionals learn to work with these technologies constructively and in trustworthy ways.
Emerging epistemic technologies such as algorithmic or AI‑powered systems can generate knowledge, perform analytical processes, and influence decision-making. These technologies present opportunities and serious challenges for knowledge work and expert communities, affecting epistemology, social relations, and agency.
