We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Phlebotomist I to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing blood draws, specimen labeling, and specimen processing while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws and labeling of specimens with accuracy and efficiency.
+ Centrifuge and decontaminate specimens, and record maintenance data.
+ Update patient information as required.
+ Collect and store specimens according to established procedures, including urine and fecal samples.
+ Clearly and courteously explain the venipuncture process and specimen collection to patients.
+ Demonstrate techniques using straight and butterfly needles.
+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes accurately.
