Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, (e.g., heat water, exercise, etc.) directed towards relieving pain and/or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients.
EDUCATION:
A specific level of technical knowledge and the applications of various treatment interventions in order to relieve pain and/or restore a physiological function.
+ This level of knowledge is generally obtained through the completion of an accredited bachelor's level program in Physical Therapy.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
+ Current State of Michigan Licensure in order to practice as a registered physical therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ The ability to lift and position clients and to perform treatment modalities.
+ A high level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients...
