Physical Therapist

Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU), Days, 8:00 - 4:30 pm Responsible for evaluating patients and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Conducts comprehensive assessments, establishes appropriate goals, and develops personalized interventions to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote mobility. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical procedures relevant to physiotherapy. Educates patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies. Supervises and delegates tasks to physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Treatments may include therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and the use of physical agents and assistive devices.
