Physical Therapy Resident - Orthopedics - Day Shift - Multiple Sites

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The physical therapy residency is a program that provides clinical and didactic educational opportunities provided by the Henry Ford Health system, designed to
advance the knowledge and clinical skills of a physical therapist working in the Orthopedic care specialty practice area.

The physical therapy (PT) resident performs PT evaluation; diagnoses movement dysfunction; and uses interventions to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability, working both independently and under direct mentorship as per curricular requirements.

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM DETAILS:

This is an accredited program under the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency & Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE). Resident therapists are considered full-time employees, with a salary.
