We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Physicist - Manhattan, Cancer Center (Radiation Oncology).

 Responsible for maintenance of quality assurance program, supervision and review of dosimetrists tasks, review of planning procedures and oversight of the patient planning and treatment process with brachytherapy or external beam radiation therapy

Job Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Planning: Identifies and evaluates target volumes and critical structures. Generates QA plans as required for IMRT and reference points as needed for physics checks. Follows established policies and procedures as they relate to treatment planning. Demonstrated level of planning capability. Completeness of RT electronic charts: setup fields, DRR, CBCT, ref points, scheduling.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
