Physiotherapist (ADP Authorizer)

Job Summary

The Physiotherapist, reporting to the Clinical Manager, is responsible for the assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring physiotherapy interventions in accordance with professional standards and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess clients and establish, evaluate, and revise treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records that meet College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards, documenting assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with other members of the health care team as needed.
• Monitor and support physiotherapy assistants in a team environment.
• Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients and care providers and provide education regarding treatment strategies as needed.
