The Reina Sofía School of Music announces an opening for the position of Piccolo Professor, within the Flute Chair, led by the proffesor Jacques Zoon. The Flute Chair will have 6 students in the 2026–27 academic year.
Responsibilities
Approximately 90 hours per year of teaching collaboration, expandable depending on needs and prior written agreement with the School.
Providing one hour of joint work per student within the piccolo course module, with scheduling agreed in advance.
Availability to attend concerts and activities outside teaching hours, both within and outside the School premises.
Participation in orchestral repertoire exam panels (mock tests), held in January and April.
