Pipefitter, Apprentices & Journeyperson

Position Overview

Pipefitter / Steamfitter Apprentice & Journeypersons.

Project: DOW Chemical.

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Rate: $31.20 to $52.00 per hour.

Overtime: as per the Collective Agreement.

Schedule: 5x2, Mon-Fri, 48 hrs/week. 4-10s & 1-8hr. 6am start time.

Camp: No camp, local only.

Allowances: No allowances, local only.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
• Measure and cut pipes using various tools to ensure proper fit before installation.
• Join pipes using welding, soldering, or adhesive techniques ensuring leak‑proof connections.
• Inspect and test piping systems for safety and performance, adjusting as necessary.
