Plant Operations Intern

Summary:

A power facility located in Wilkesville, Ohio is seeking a Plant Operations Intern to learn and participate in daily plant operations at the facility. After this internship is complete, the intern will have a firm understanding of the professional, methodological, and technical skills in demand to operate and maintain a modern Simple-Cycle Plant.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and adhere to all plant safety guidelines and procedures while striving to maintain an injury-free environment.


• Participate in daily activities associated with the safe and reliable operation of the plant including but not limited to supporting preventative maintenance routines, supporting startup and shutdown activities, and supporting environmental compliance.
