Job Description
**Job Description:**
The Plan Operator is a position in the Facilities Management department that requires entry-level experience in plant operations. Regardless of specialty, a Plant Operator I may be required to perform other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or assisting with other projects.
**Schedule: Full Time**
**Benefits Eligible**
** Highly preferred knowledge of low, medium, and high pressure steam systems.
Condensate return systems, steam traps, and steam operated pressure reducing valves.
Experience with high pressure industrial firetube steam boilers, and hot water boilers. As well as DA tanks and Surge tanks. Industrial water softeners and associated systems including boiler chemicals, DE-alkalizers, and chemical feed pumps.
Knowledge of steam heat exchangers. Both shell and tube and plate and frame. Preferred knowledge of boiler HMI and PLC processes. Preferred experience with various types of pum...
