Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
:The Plumber Assistant will work alongside our Plumbers assisting them in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential & commercial properties owned by Sitnasuak Native Corporation, Sitnasuak Properties, LLC, and Bonanza Fuel, LLC.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist in performing regular inspections of pipes and plumbing fixtures
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance work
• Assist in Installing and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Assist in fitting and repairing various household appliances.
• Help Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as other equipment, other workers, and falling objects
