Job Description
A plumber is a skilled tradesperson responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and water/gas/sanitation systems in residential or commercial buildings. They diagnose leaks, clear blockages, and ensure systems comply with safety regulations, often reading blueprints to plan layouts for new installations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Repair: Installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fixtures (sinks, toilets), and water heaters.
Troubleshooting & Diagnosis: Identifying the cause of plumbing failures, leaks, or malfunctions and determining the best repair methods.
Pipe Fitting: Cutting, welding, bending, and assembling various types of piping materials (copper, PVC, etc.).
