About
The primary purpose of this position is to manage underwriting of new and renewal Mid‑Corp Business within Santam corporate property. The role leads and effectively manages a team of underwriters, contributing to sustaining and growing a profitable book of business.
Responsibilities
Key Functions
- Enhance the SCP brand and foster a corporate culture that promotes sustainable ethical practices.
- Support all SCP financial and growth objectives.
- Help achieve marketing and growth goals in line with company objectives, including Santam Specialist Solutions Growth initiatives.
- Manage underwriting file operations to support efficient Risk Administration.
- Maintain company underwriting standards based on Insured’s Loss Ratio, Risk Concerns, Policy Loss Limits, Deductibles, and other relevant information for renewals.
