What You Will DoThe Quantum and Condensed Matter Physics Group (T-4) in the Theoretical Division, together with the Center forIntegrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) at Los Alamos National Laboratory, invites applications for a postdoctoralresearch position. We seek outstanding candidates with expertise in the theory and modeling of optical andphotonic phenomena in low-dimensional hybrid nanoscale semiconductor heterostructures. Emphasis will beplaced on understanding and exploiting enhancements of the optical properties facilitated by the dielectricenvironment, including photonic and plasmonic cavities, photonic crystals, and waveguides. The successfulcandidate will join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team of theorists and experimentalists working at the interface offundamental science and emerging applications.
