Job Description

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) invites applications for a PostDoc Researcher in the area of intelligent control of networked systems,at the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA USI-SUPSI) within the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI), located in Lugano. The degree of employment is 100%, with a contract starting on 01.09.2026, or on a mutually agreed date
Duties and responsibilities
Work on the EU project PHYS-EXO with a focus on Physical AI for exoskeletons, developing, implementing, and validating AI-based and vision-based controllers.
Conduct innovative research in the field of Physical AI for exoskeleton, working on 3D mapping approaches, semantic-based reasoning, and controllers.
Design and implement experiments to explore new approaches and techniques in the aforementioned areas.
