The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Clemson University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Biophysics under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Dr. Sheng Liu .

This position focuses on the development of a high-resolution single-particle tracking system based on MINFLUX microscopy to study protein dynamics and interactions in live cells. The successful candidate will play a central role in advanced instrumentation development and interdisciplinary biophysics research.

Primary Research Responsibilities

  • Design, construction, and optimization of a MINFLUX microscope
  • Development of instrument control software
  • Data acquisition, processing, and quantitative analysis
  • Preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals
