Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Nanophotonics and Meta-Optics)

Tampere University is building a next-generation model of higher education and research, and the MetaPhotonics Group explores light control at the nanoscale. This position will contribute to cutting‑edge research in nanophotonics, including high harmonic generation, nanoscale optical isolators, nanoresonators for single‑photon sources, and quantum photochemistry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct original research in one or more of the specified research directions.
• Design, fabricate, and characterize nanophotonic components in state‑of‑the‑art cleanroom facilities.
• Collaborate with researchers and mentors to write grant proposals and scientific publications.
• Mentor junior researchers, assist in teaching activities, and engage with industry partners.
