Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard‑working and dedicated Power Engineer 4 to fill a position at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital. Under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Power Engineer 4 (PW4) operates, repairs, and carries out preventative maintenance on the boilers, air conditioning units, emergency power and other related equipment of the facility. The role includes mechanical maintenance, repairs, and replacement duties related to the physical plant, buildings, and equipment approaching various journeyman trades qualifications. Responsibilities also involve supervising other maintenance workers and designated staff as required, and managing contractors and projects when necessary. This position is for the NEW Dawson Creek Hospital; the successful applicant will be required to provide after‑hours on‑call services on rotation.
