Power Technician Team Lead - Matamata

We have an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader (Power Technician) to join Downer’s Network Services team.

In this role, you’ll lead a team delivering high-quality workmanship across construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of network equipment and installations. You’ll be accountable for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company standards, work practices and regulatory requirements.

You’ll take a hands‑on leadership role, planning and coordinating daily work, scoping jobs, estimating time and resource requirements, and breaking work down into achievable steps to ensure successful delivery. You’ll work closely with Supervisors, Works Coordinators and other stakeholders to plan and schedule work, anticipate challenges and keep jobs on track.

This is a permanent full‑time position, offering working 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime and travel. <...
