- BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Registration as Pr Eng (ECSA) Non-negotiable
- Minimum 5 years experience in powerline and substation design
- Strong understanding of Eskom and municipal standards
- Proficiency in relevant design software and power system analysis tools
- Valid drivers license
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee HV and MV powerline and substation projects
- Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings
- Perform load flow studies and protection coordination
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints
