Job Description
SUMMARY:
A well-established engineering and infrastructure firm is seeking a professionally registered Pr Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional with proven experience in powerline and substation design within the utilities or infrastructure sector.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Registration as Pr Eng (ECSA) – Non-negotiable
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in powerline and substation design
- Strong understanding of Eskom and municipal standards
- Proficiency in relevant design software and power system analysis tools
- Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee HV and MV powerline and substation projects
- Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings
