Overview Position Title: Practical Nursing Instructor Department: Health Sciences Immediate Supervisor's Title: Director of Practical Nursing Positions Supervised: None Term of Position: Full-time, Exempt Position Description (primary functions): Teaches courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follows the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the department faculty and administered by the Director of Nursing; provides direct supervision of students in a clinical setting; must participate in professional development activities that support evidenced-based learning in the classroom and the clinical setting Minimum Requirements A minimum of a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing; Masters in nursing preferred Have three (3) years clinical experience working as a registered nurse; or have two (2) years experience as faculty in a nursing program/allied health program Must have an unencumbered license as an RN in Mississippi Satisfy clinical agency req...
