Job Description
Responsibilities
- Development of competitive and consistent pricing for global regional tenders.
- Clarify service requirements, and obtain relevant inputs, e.g. shipping profile, customer strategy, target prices, RFQ response guidelines etc.
- Support conversations regarding the pricing strategy for each tender involved, providing a solid justification of the approach to follow with the sales owners.
- Analyse profitability and rate levels for existing and potential business and pricing, benchmarking against competition and DHL pricing for other customers.
- Ensure deep dive cost analysis to determine customer-specific costs to serve, e.g. special pickup, customer implants, dedicated linehaul, B2C service, value‑added services etc.
- Prepare consolidated prices in rate card formats and customer/ RFQ templates.
