Job Description
Overview
Independently develop structural design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.
Responsibilities- Deliver the respective project design drawing and documents according to the project plan schedule. Take on project lead role.
- Review external designer’s pre-contract technical specifications, general arrangement and drawing lists.
- Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval.
- Perform FE analysis using FEMAP (an advantage).
- Review project team members drawings, calculations or documents prior submission.
- Perform structural calculation, rudder calculation and design.
- Prepare optimized arrangement and detailed structure concept.
