Job Description
Join Qualus as a Principal Engineer – Protection & Control to lead innovative design in electrical substations. This senior position requires extensive expertise in utility‑specific protection and control design.
Responsibilities
- Develop documentation for protection planning and applications.
- Conduct protection coordination studies for high voltage systems.
- Review relevant engineering documents and construction plans.
- Support all phases of construction and commissioning.
- Mentor junior engineers to enhance team skills.
- Lead innovative power system designs and mentor your team at Qualus.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of experience in protection and control design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient with ASPEN and EasyPower software.
- Field experience in construction and outage planning.
- Strong English communication skills.
